The screen of the OPPO Reno8 Pro looks great in most conditions, at least as long as it is not viewed outdoors and in sunlight: there is some difficulty here in correctly distinguishing what is printed on the panel. The response to the touch is excellent, the viewing angles are very good, the minimum brightness is annoying in complete darkness, OPPO includes different software visual improvements with which to enhance the visualization of the content and places special emphasis on the video: in addition to being compatible With HDR (HDR10+), it has an enhancer with which to give more life to the colors (at the cost of saturating them).

The fingerprint reader under the screen is sufficiently accurate
OPPO does not experiment with biometrics in its new phone in the Reno range: the brand includes an optical fingerprint reader that is hidden under the screen, in an area that is perfectly accessible to the thumb. This area is somewhat lower than in other models without us having found any inconveniences when using the sensor.

The OPPO Reno8 Pro unlocks instantly after applying the fingerprint, the accuracy is good and it does not usually ask for a second reading if the first one fails. In addition, the mobile includes facial unlocking with the front camera; more practical, although also somewhat less secure. And it offers double tap on screen to turn the panel on and off (combined with face unlock greatly speeds up unlocking the phone).
